Welcome To Tanzania Public Service College Tabora Branch

 

The Tanzania Public Service College (TPSC) was established under the ambit of the Executive Agencies Act No 30 of 1997 to provide a comprehensive training facility for Public Service and to support the changing needs of Public Services resulting from instituted reforms. The priorities of TPSC are to provide demand driven training, consulting and applied/ action research to the public, non-governmental and private sectors of Tanzania.

It is our expectation that you will fully utilize this opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and insights through well researched, designed competence based programmes, resourced by highly qualified and registered CBET training providers. The College has taken all measures to make sure that the information provided is current and accurate, in terms of staffing, curricula, course contents, and teaching facilities. 

Tanzania Public Service College Tabora Campus provide training capacity (volume, range, quality) that meets the public service requirements, Development and delivering short courses aimed at improving systems, structures and processes in the Public Service. Not only these but we disseminate knowledge on good Public Service Management through applied research and  Development of skills, knowledge and awareness in management, leadership, administration and office support.

  • Where do i get application form?

    Application forms may be downloaded from the College Website or can be collected from the Registrar’s Office.
  • What is entry qualification and duration of courses

    1. Entry Qualification for Basic Technician Certificate Courses ( BTC)- NTA level 4
      • Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE)-Form IV with at least Four (4) passes of D higher excluding religion subjects.
      • Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV) with at least two passes who has passed NVA level 3 certificates from institution recognized by VETA or NACTE.

     Duration of the course:  two semester ( one year)

    1. Entry Qualification for Technician Certificate Courses (TC)- NTA level 5
      • Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSE)-Form VI with at least one principal pass or more excluding religion subjects.
      • Certificate of secondary education with Basic Technician Certificate ( NTA level 4) in relevant courses recognized by NACTE

    Duration of the course:  two semester ( one year)

    1. Entry Qualification for Ordinary Diploma NTA level 6
      • Certificate of secondary education with Technician Certificate (NTA level 5) in relevant courses recognized by NACTE

    Duration of the course:  two semester ( one year)

     
  • What is the fee structure?

    The following are the fees structure and how to pay:

      • Basic Technician Certificate - 800,000/= Two semesters(1 Year)  400,000/= per semister
      • Ordinary Diploma - 2,030,000/=  Four semesters(two years) 1st semester 530,000/= 2rd 485,000/= 3rd  530,000/= 4th 485,000/=
